Our traditional Public bar is the best private space in Wandsworth to host your event, from wedding breakfasts, birthday parties, corporate dinners and wakes, we are here to take away all of the stress when planning your special occasion.

We have an array of bespoke party platters to choose from as well as bubbles and beer packages available to pre order. Or simply start a tab to spend at your very own private bar.

We also have 21 beautiful boutique hotel bedrooms just above the pub so your guests won’t have far to travel at the end of the night.

Our Public Bar is the perfect private space for every occasion. It even has it’s own bar, ensuring your guests won’t go thirsty.

Capacity: 30 guests minimum, 70 guests maximum

Our gorgeous Garratt Dining room is the perfect space to enjoy a sit down lunch or dinner with family and loved ones. With its open kitchen you can watch the team hard at work cooking up a storm, whilst you play hostess-with-the-mostest.

From classic sausage rolls and scotch eggs, to oyster platters, we have a variety of bespoke, lovingly curated food platters for your guests to enjoy

Our stylish Victorian rooms have been designed around their original features, to create beautiful timeless boutique-y bedrooms. They’re located just above the pub, so your guests won’t have far to travel at the end of the night.

Brilliant Birthday Evening

We had a birthday event at the pub and it was a wonderful evening. The staff (Josh, Angus and Charlie) were so helpful, organised and accommodating, and the food was delicious! They helped to make the evening the success it was. Highly recommend having an event here.

Incredible Wedding Experience

We recently had our wedding breakfast at the Spread Eagle, and we honestly cannot put into words just how incredible the entire experience was. From start to finish, the team went above and beyond to make our day special. The service was absolutely outstanding. Every member of staff was warm and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they handled every little detail with such care and professionalism. They were so accommodating, flexible with our requests and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. We are beyond grateful for everything they did for us and would wholeheartedly recommend this pub to anyone looking to host a special event.

Our Wedding Hotel Stay

We stayed here the night before our wedding and a couple of nights after. The hotel was fabulous, lovely rooms, great breakfast and such friendly staff.

We also had dinner there and the day after the wedding had 50 people in the ‘public bar’. Again the food and staff were brilliant. Would recommend it to anyone!

Spread Eagle Became The Hub For The Wedding

Our son was married in London on Friday. Many of the family stayed The Spread Eagle from across the UK ( and beyond ). The Spread Eagle became the hub for the wedding. The accommodation was to a very high standard and the meals we were served were uniformly excellent. Worth particular mention is the friendly and welcoming service. Nothing was too much trouble. By the time we left Trish and Josh were like part of the family! Can’t recommend The Spread Eagle highly enough!

Lovely Mother’s Day Lunch

Lovely Mother’s Day lunch at Spread Eagle. Food was great (vegan burger was a highlight). Service was good too given how busy the staff were, very friendly and helpful. We also got a glass of Prosecco and home made truffles as a treat for mum – heartfelt gesture which went a long way.

Completely Taken By Surprise

Completely taken by surprise by this Youngs Brewery Inn. Large, clean and fresh room in a historic pub and at a price that represents wonderful value for money. Staff and the service could not be faulted. Well done to all concerned.
